Sea". The official city flower is the Bougainvillea; the official city tree, the Coral.
San Clemente has a Mediterranean climate where temperatures tend to average in the 70s. The warmest month of the year is August, with an average temperature of 79 °F (26 °C). As a traveler, the best thing about this place is: - Surfing!
San Clemente is the surfing media capital of the world as well as a major surfing destination. It is home to Surfing Magazine, The Surfer's Journal, and Longboard Magazine, with Surfer Magazine an adjacent city San Juan Capistrano.
The city has a large concentration of surfboard shapers and manufacturers. Additionally, numerous world-renowned surfers were raised in San Clemente or took up long-term residence in town, including Shane Beschen, Mike Parsons (originally from Laguna Beach).
Except surfing, San Clemente offers good places to visit and beaches to enjoy your summer vacation. However, to swim in the ocean is not recommended, unless you are a professional swimmer. The reason is that the water has a lot of waves, and it is really hard to get to the shore because of the waves. That is not my problem, surfing is my hobby.
Another reason to visit San Clemente is of course - the night life. Even on night you have a lot of things to do, go to discos, clubs, pubs, concerts.
This is everything I can say for this amazing landmark. It is up to you to visit and see this place yourself.
